I felt compelled to write a song about clitoral energy after working in an electronics lab, and often hearing about inserter connectors being referred to as male and receptacles as female. I thought this was grossly disrespectful and wanted to write a song that affirmed my experience of sexuality as "Clitoral Energy".

One most important part of a woman is a magic switch.
It glows with dynamic energy and it’s called the clitoris.
It swells when it’s stimulated.
The woman feels elated.
By the warmth in her smile,
You can tell she’s high … on clitoral energy.

The energy from the magic switch
Connects a woman to a reservoir of energy That calms her nerves when she’s tense,
Cheers her up when depressed.
There’s nothing like a natural, clitoral high.

In some societies, men fear the clitoris.
Seems like they’ll do anything to keep women oppressed.
They even have the gall to remove the clitoris.
They tell outsiders it’s cultural.
Their logic is a mess.
Customs should be respected if they don’t hurt anyone.
Genital mutilation is a human rights violation!
